Want More Sex? Reduce Going to the Gym

Regular exercise in the gym can make you lose sex drive. Men who go to the gym are considered to have a less active sex life. The findings are from research conducted by researchers at the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill, USA. Exercise in the gym causes low libido. According to the study, men who exercise with high intensity have lower libido than those who exercise with low intensity. In the study, each respondent was categorized based on the duration of the exercise, which was mild, moderate, or intense.

Apparently, the problem lies in the fact that exercising at the gym will make a man reach fatigue. Men become too tired to have sex or lose interest in making love, reported from the Times of India, Wednesday (11/21/2018).

The study, which has been published in the Medicine & Science journal in Sports & Exercise, shows, "Exposure to higher levels of intense and tight long-term exercise regularly has a significant effect associated with a decrease in libido scores in men."

Male libido decreases due to fatigue. On the other hand, less intense exercise makes libido higher. Researcher Anthony Hackney, a sports physiology professor concluded, those who exercise less intensely have higher libido.
